Under the direction of the CSOC’s General Manager sustain the CSOC’s 24/7 security operations.
On call 24/7 to respond to incidents and staff coverage.
Review Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) by updating the CSOC’s Operation Plan and Standard Operating Procedure.
Provide a quarterly progress report to show compliance with contractual scope of work requirements.
Generate security metric reports of CSOC activity by week, month, quarter and yearly. Metric reports to be reviewed at least monthly and adjusted as needed.
Manage monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Facilitate monthly CSOC leadership status meetings to discuss ongoing performance, issues and concerns.
Mentor CSOC staff by providing training, facilitate exercises/drills, offer one-on-one meetings, and provide tier-3 technical support.
Ensure the CSOC is operating in a professional manner with adherence to all policies and procedures.
Interview and select candidates for the CSOC staff positions.
Coordinate staff scheduling and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Manage and monitor staff’s skill set.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in business management, communications, computer science, information technology or a related discipline. An individual with at least 5 years’ management experience in a 24/7 security operations center.
- Certifications and trainings such as Security+, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GSEC, CEH Certification, ISSMP, CISSP.
