Our Client, A Prestigious International Firm is seeking a Director of Technology for its NYC Office.
You will manage the IT team, as well as work closely with the C-Level stakeholders, and other International business partners within the firm. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct the information and data integrity of the company and its business units. Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsible to the needs of the company’s growth and objectives. Develop and establish operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology. Evaluate overall operations of computing and information technology functions and recommend enhancements. Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives. Ensure the security of the information systems infrastructure. Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans. Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Develops strategy, policy, budgets, and projects to optimize the use of IT for profitability. Establish, maintain and update when necessary all IT policy and procedures (e.g. security, social network, etc ) for all facilities and ensures that the current IT policies and procedures are effectively enforced. Designs and implements new servers, applications, infrastructure, and other systems. Administers servers, applications, network infrastructure, and other system.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Bachelors Degree in information technology or computer science (Masters Degree Preferred). ~15 years of experience in a senior-level information technologies role. Direct IT management leadership experience including: Business Information Systems/Technology, IT strategy, network infrastructure/architecture, Data Security systems. Proven experience leading and overseeing IT departments across different geographical locations. IT infrastructure technologies, including server, desktop, storage, data center, networking Technical knowledge of Key Business Systems. ERP implementation and lifecycle management. Information security practices. IT budgeting and cost management. Strategic IT planning and execution. Project management.
